Dear Floyd Elementary School Families,
The safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. I am writing to inform you that we had a medical incident on campus today involving a student injury that required us to call for Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The student’s parents have been notified and are responding to the school.
You may notice an emergency vehicle in the school parking lot. Please be assured that this is a localized medical situation; at no time were any other students or staff members in danger.
The school day is continuing as normal. We thank you for your support and for trusting us with the safety of your children.
