COVID update spot is a place for our school and community to get information regarding any school related COVID cases. The only information shared will be to report if there is a case on the school site. No other information can be given out. This is in accordance with our Nye County School District's guidelines.
January 20th update
One Elementary and one middle school student have tested positive for covid. One staff member has tested positive for covid. All three of these cases have been in quarantine since January 13th.
January 18th update
Five high school students tested positive and are currently in quarantine.
November 3rd update
One Pre-K school student has tested positive and is in quarantine.
One Second grade school student has tested positive and is in quarantine.
One BES staff members has tested positive and is in quarantine.
September 24th update
One Middle school student has tested positive and is in quarantine.
September 20th update
Two Middle school students have tested positive and are in quarantine.
September 9th update
4 High school student athletes, two elementary students, and two BEMS staff members have tested positive and are in quarantine.
September 7th update
Two High school staff members have tested positive and are in quarantine.
Two elementary students from the fourth and fifth class have test and are in quarantine.
September 2nd update
One high school student tested positive and is in quarantine.
One elementary school student tested positive and is in quarantine.
September 1st update
There are no cases to report.
