Lockdown due transformer blowing.
At appx. 10:45 am on 04/13/2021, a loud bang was heard at Beatty Elementary and Middle School. The School site then went on lock down and notified the police department. By appx. 11:05 police on the scene had determined there was no danger. Valley Electric had a transformer blow near the school which created the loud bang sound heard by students and staff. Beatty high School was placed on code Soft Lockdown. Once law enforcement confirmed all was clear, all Lockdowns were cancelled.
