School Bulletin

Welcome back, Hornet Nation!

We're excited to start another school year with a few staff changes. Mr. Rasmussen will teach at both BEMS & BHS, & Jenna Rogers is our new Food Service Manager at BEMS. Unfortunately, we no longer have our PreK class at BEMS, but we are committed to bringing it back. Please join us in welcoming two new teachers to our high school staff:

Mr. Fischer - High School Math

Mrs. Barron - Social Studies

BEMS Construction

BEMS is undergoing renovations, including updated locker rooms & roof repairs. Stay tuned!

Single Point Entry

To enhance security, BEMS and BHS will each use a single entrance during school hours. At BEMS, students and visitors should use the 4th St. Gate, while BHS will use the main front entrance. This ensures a secure environment where everyone can feel confident about our safety procedures.

No Toys From Home

Students are not allowed to bring any toys, or similar items, to school as it can distract them from classroom activities.

Getting back into a school routine can be tough

for students. Your help in establishing a consistent

routine at home will make this transition

smoother, minimizing potential issues at school.

An easy way to get involved with your student’s

learning is to ask them to teach you something they learned each day. Even when they say they learned nothing, a simple reminder that every day we all learn new things can help. Thank you for your support!
